In this fast-paced, humor-filled sport story, Ms. Miao weaves interesting facts about Chinese history, lacrosse, the violin, and planets. The characters are very relatable for children 8 to 12 years old with realistic dialogue and the emotional struggles they face. The ending is exciting and encourages children to challenge themselves to do their best in everything they try. I highly recommend this book.
